Stepping out
- Theater
by Richard Harris
directed by Mathilde Berry
Summary:
It’s the mid-1980s in north-London. Once a week, a group of women (and one man) meet in a dingy church hall - not to praise Jesus but to learn how to tap dance. Despite disparate backgrounds, differing motivations, and various degrees of talent between them, their teacher has her eyes on performing in a big charity show.
How will the major and minor dramas in the troupe affect their rehearsal progress? Will they or won’t they manage to pull off that glorious, glittery chorus line?
