Kink 101 with Jeremy Shub

We are honored to host this event with Jeremy, who we trust to create a wild, magical, safe, creative space for everyone to grow and glow. Discover the fundamentals of safe and consensual kinky and power play, spanking and basic rope binding – inside a frame of safety, adventure and arousal. The session is designed for beginners or people wanting to further their experience of kink. Most of the exercises will be partnered exercises that involve touch. This four-hour workshop includes both partnered activities and some theory around Kink/BDSM/Fetish. You’ll need some rope, a yoga mat and – if you like- a paddle for spanking. (More info below)

What to bring

You will need to bring a yoga mat or similar surface to play on as well as your own rope. For the spanking part, a paddle is optional – you can also just use your hands. You can buy our recommended rope and paddles at a 20% discount and we will bring the items to the workshop space. Jeremy recommends the 8m rope. Is this for me?

We will create an absolutely delightful evening of playful exploration – for everyone – wether you feel daring or careful. You will always be able to choose how much participation you wish to have. You may attend as a pair or on your own and be matched up with a play partner. Choose an outfit that makes you feel comfortable. Clothing is optional, please be prepared to see some skin around you. The room is accessible, please let us know if you need to use the elevator.

About the facilitator

Working as a sex therapist, sex educator, sexological bodyworker, and relationship coach, Jeremy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to their practice. Currently based in Berlin, they identify as polyamorous, slutty, a sex worker, kinky, genderfluid, and queer. With a background in education, science, creative art, and sexual health, Jeremy holds multiple university degrees and has facilitated numerous workshops on sexuality, relationships, and pleasure.

Jeremy is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples and relationship constellations of all orientations and gender identities, with a focus on respecting consent and boundaries. Jeremy brings a queer-positive, anti-racist, and intersectional feminist perspective to the work, informed and inspired by the principles of decolonization, anti-patriarchy, anti-capitalism, and pro-earth spirituality.
